5. As we all know, British  are the only people driving on the left. Can you explain why?
 
Because the feudal lords rode to the left, the same side that bore his sword. So, passing by an enemy, and defend could draw his right hand and Napoleon forced his subjects to driving on the right.

6. What are the main differences between British and American  English? Give at least five examples.
British English has a tendency to respect the pronunciation of many words of French origin. Americans often take away points ''that are not necessary'' and usually do not respect the pronunciation of words of French origin to give a pronunciation more '' American''. Here are some exemples:

9. Why do you think it is called “Great Britain”  instead of “Britain”

Great Britain is an island lying off the western coast of Europe, comprising the main territory of the Unit Kingdom.

10. List the name of five rivers placed anywhere within  Great Britain. River Severn, River Thames, River Trent, River Wye and River Spey.
