Hi,
My name's is Júlia Vila and I live South London. I like the area where I live, so I want to improve it.

My opinion the young people spend all their time hanging around on the street. There are sometimes problems with vandalism and graffiti. There aren't any facilities for them.

I think there isn't anywhere fot young people to go.
I'm sure they must have some a youth café, and the people go there.

Laia: Júlia? Where are you? What's happened?
Júlia: I'm down here. I was swimming near the sea, I wine hit a rock. 
Laia: Are you OK? Can you jump up in the boat?
Júlia: No, I'm injured. I can't more it and it really hurts.
Laia: Don't panic! Let's phone the coastguard.
Júlia: OK, but hurry up! I don't know how long I can swim.
Laia: OK, OK hang on! I'm sure that someone will come soon.
Júlia: Laia!
Laia: Now what's happening?
Júlia: There is a shark here! Help!!!

Dear Sir or Madam

I am the captain of a cycling climb in Banyoles. The name of the club is Julia's cycling club. I am writing to you because we are planning a tourament and we are looking for sponsors.

The tournament will take place in March. Teams and fans from six countries are going to be in Banyoles , for this event, and I think that it will be good publicity for your company.

Joaquín Cortés

Joaquín Cortés was born in Córdoba (1969). He moved to Madrid in 1981 and New York in 1999.


He started to dance when he was twelve years old, and he started to dance int he Spanish National Ballet when he was fifteen years old. His famous shows are Pasión Gitana, Soul and Live.


His characteristics are: explosive, original and athletic.

Imagine that you took in the photo. Write a story with the title A Brave Rescue

Think and plan

1.- Where were you and when did the rescue happen? On holiday in Canadà.

2.- What were you doing when the rescue happened? Visited the “Catarates of Niagara”

3.- What happened to the person on the stretcher? The child was saved but not the lifeguard

4.- How did the rescuers know about this situation? Because after we called my father, who had received a call.

5.- Why was the situation dangerous? Because the sea is very dangerous

6.- How did the situation end? For some good and another bad

This summer we went to Canada. As we were quietly bathing in a thermal bath we heard a terrible scream out. We left and saw a child into the sea. Suddenly the lifeguard threw  into the sea, the sea returned but could not snatch it's selected in the background. My father tried to barter the police but did not catch. Finally my father tired desperate threw themselves into the sea. He rescued the child for 6 years, but the lifeguard appeared anywhere. It was a great shock but all ended well, less of the unless the lifeguard was not to find it.

Here we are in my ideal home. It's a modern flat near the centre of the town. It's quite small, buts it's got everything. It's got 4bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen and a living room.
On a ideal afternoon, in my idal home we're all there.
My mum and dad are sitting Teh're reading. My brother is playing DS in the sofa. I've got a new bed in my bedroom.
My favourite room is the bedroom. It's got a big bed and a really movern TV. I like this room becose I can listen to music,play DS and watch TV in it.

Hello, my name is Júlia. I'm now tolking about my summer holiday.
Fist I went to a Cruise of Greek islands and 1 part of Italy with my family.
Second I went to l'Estertit with my friends: Helena, Mireia and Laia.
Finally went to Juanetes with Laia, Helena, and Mireia.

First:I went to cruise the Greek istland and 1 part of Italy. It was fun. Firts I went to Rome after that we went to Naples(Capri), Athens, Turkey, Santorini, Mykonos and Malta.

Second: I went to l'Estertit with Mireia, Laia and Helena. I went to stay 3 days. Every day we went to the swimming pool in the morning. In the afternoon we went to the sea. They played the "patanca"...It was fun.

Finally: I went to Juanetes with Laia, Helena and Mireia. We went there 3 days. Every day we went swimming in the river. We threew a waterfall. We hund fish... It was fun
